    Hi Jeremy,

Nice to see that you’re interested in web conferencing. I’d like to quickly let you know about Mikogo - The Free Online Meeting Tool. Many of the Mikogo users are employing the program for education and training purposes. Therefore I think Mikogo could be a great tool for Huddlemind and for the learning network.

With Mikogo (http://www.mikogo.com) the meeting organizer just needs to download a small file (approx. 1MB) and start a meeting with their own Mikogo account from their desktop. For the participants, there are no downloads nor registrations required - very easy and quick to start meetings. Also there are absolutely no costs associated with Mikogo.

With Mikogo you receive the following features all 100% free:
    - screen sharing with up to 10 participants in any one Mikogo meeting
    - switch presenter: allow any participant (with consent) to share their own screen
    - remote control: grant remote control to a participant or request remote control from the current meeting presenter
    - application selection: you can choose which applications running on your PC you wish to share and which ones you would rather keep hidden
    - pause transmission: temporarily pause the screen sharing without losing connection
    - file transfer: send files instantly between meeting participants

    Security features:
    - 256-AES end-to-end encryption
    - 9-digit unique ID: only with this can you participant in the current meeeting
    - optional password: enhance security by assigning a password to your upcoming meeting
    - lock meeting room: prevent anyone entering your online meeting, even if they have the current 9-digit ID

Finally, Mikogo is Skype compatible - with the Mikogo Skype Extra (https://extras.skype.com/1672/view). Free phone calls and free screen sharing together.

If you have any questions about Mikogo, feel free to email me. I’d be happy to hear from you and assist you.

    Regards,

    Andrew Donnelly
